Before finding Elite Pediatric and Family Chiropractic (EPFC), Daylen was faced with multiple daily challenges. His focus and memory issues were preventing him from excelling in school and caused him to submit assignments late. He also found it difficult to get ready for school in the morning because he would get easily distracted when getting dressed or brushing his teeth.
Mom tried to introduce more structure and discipline into Daylen’s environment by using timers to help him finish his homework and even by enrolling him in martial arts. Despite her time and efforts, Daylen continued to struggle with school and being independent. Mom also took him to other healthcare providers who recommended medication, but she was determined to find a natural, drug-free approach to help him succeed!
At EPFC, the doctors discussed his neurological scans in detail and explained how they were going to help Daylen meet his goals. Mom said, “the neurological scans brought me hope because I knew there was something wrong, but I didn’t know how to help him. It made sense to be that his nervous system was so unbalanced”. Daylen’s scans showed that his nervous system had become exhausted over time, which made it difficult to interact with and adapt to his environment. Finally, Mom found answers and felt relief that they were on the path to restoring her son’s health by treating the root cause!
After the first week of care, Daylen began arriving at the breakfast table dressed and ready for school with enough time to share a meal with his family. As his memory and focus started to improve, he became more self-reliant and independent. Today, he is a thriving, successful student who is passing all of his classes and turns in his assignments 4-5 days in advance. With a regulated nervous system, he is now able to communicate more effectively, which has given greater confidence and self-esteem.
